Speaking to the House of Commons on 5 November 1919, Secretary of State for War Winston Churchill acknowledged in veiled terms that there was a hidden force behind the Bolshevik Revolution:
"Lenin was sent into Russia by the Germans in the same way that you might send a phial containing a culture of typhoid or cholera to be poured into the water supply of a great city, and it worked with amazing accuracy." [1]
Churchill was not a "conspiracy theorist" - he knew very well how revolutions are made. The ruling class of Great Britain, of which he was a part, had already in the 19th century turned the British Isles into the very "phial" in which the most diverse subversive movements were cultivated.
This article examines the most significant organizations, movements and ideologies that the British ruling class has used and continues to use to influence, destabilize and overthrow foreign governments.
FREEMASONRY OF THE GRAND LODGE OF ENGLAND
In this series, the first thing to be mentioned is the Freemasonry of the Grand Lodge of England.
Today, English Freemasonry is a vast global network spanning five continents and comprising approximately 240 daughter lodges under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of England.
Through its daughter lodges, Great Britain gains the ability to covertly influence the countries where they are located. The wide range of influence explains the connection of the Grand Lodge of England with the British intelligence services. [2] The connection is so deep that, as one researcher noted, "it is difficult to know where the lodge ends and the intelligence begins".
Another reason for Freemasonry's cooperation with the secret services is the Masonic vow of silence: "Agents are selected according to certain criteria, among which the ability to keep secrets is key. This is why Masons have an advantage when it comes to promotion to leadership positions." [2]
Thus, the daughter lodges of the Grand Lodge of England actually act as conduits of British influence and centers of activity for the British intelligence services.
A striking example of the subversive nature of English Freemasonry is the February Revolution of 1917 in Russia, which led to the abdication of the Tsar. The British ambassador in Petrograd, George Buchanan, who directed the revolutionary events, relied on Russian Freemasons, who later formed the Provisional Government. [3a][3b]
Currently, a network of English Freemasonry affiliates in the United States, in alliance with pro-British media and the Democratic Party, is resisting the efforts of the Donald Trump administration to eliminate British influence and restore the country's sovereignty.
YOUNG FREEMASONRY
In the 19th century, Freemasonry was a major supranational force, and the British ruling class actively used it to implement its foreign policy plans. Thus, in the 1830s, Lord Palmerston and his agent Giuseppe Mazzini created a network of subversive lodges across continental Europe, known as Young Freemasonry.
Henry Palmerston, who served as Foreign Secretary and then Prime Minister, sought to transform Great Britain into a world empire. However, he was hampered by the European monarchies, which he planned to crush by relying on national revolutionary movements. According to his plan, the place of the overthrown dynasties was to be taken by Masonic democracies - pliable instruments of London. Democracy, reduced to the level of ochlocracy by means of universal suffrage, is the most convenient form of government for Freemasonry.
"After 1815, the French are generally became pliant tools of London. But in central and eastern Europe, there was Prince Metternich's Austrian Empire, a very strong land power. There was vast Imperial Russia, under the autocrat Nicholas I or the reformer Alexander II. There was the Kingdom of Prussia. For Britain to rule the world, the Holy Alliance of Austria, Russia, and Prussia had to be broken up. There is also the matter of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire. Starting with Lord Byron's Greek Revolution in the 1820s, British policy has been to play the card of national liberation against each of these rival empires." [4]
The upcoming revolution was planned and financed by the Grand Lodge Freemason Lord Palmerston, and implemented by the British agent, the Grand Orient Freemason Giuseppe Mazzini.
The "young" recruits were trained in subversive methods, including terror tactics and the use of dynamite. They were known as anarchists and nihilists. Their mission was to spread revolution in Europe under the leadership of Mazzini. [6]
The centre of this subversive activity was London. Webster Tarpley describes the reaction of European monarchs to the transformation of the British capital into a refuge for revolutionaries and criminal scum drawn from all corners of Europe:
"Leopold of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, now the king of Belgium, has been complaining to his niece Queen Victoria that in London there is maintained a sort of menagerie of Kossuths, Mazzinis, Legranges, Ledru-Rollins, etc. ... to let loose occasionally on the continent to render its quiet and prosperity impossible." [4]
COMMUNIST LEAGUE
The apogee of Young Freemasonry's activities came with the 1848 Revolution, which shook Europe. Although this revolutionary fire was temporarily suppressed, the British ruling class, not abandoning its goal of subjugating continental Europe, placed its bets on a new force - the global communist movement. To this end, a revolutionary organization, the Communist League, was founded in London in 1847, uniting revolutionaries who had fled from Germany.
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels headed the Union's leadership. They drafted a programmatic document for the Union - the Communist Manifesto. The Manifesto's seven key provisions aimed at harnessing the labor movement to the interests of the British ruling class. These provisions included:
1. Abolition of fatherland and nationality;
2. Abolition of property and the right of inheritance;
3. Abolition of religion and morality;
4. Destruction of the family;
5. Introduction of high taxes;
6. Only the state has the right of ownership;
7. Management must be "concentrated in the hands of an association of individuals". (Marx did not specify who these "individuals" were.) [7]
The first six points of the Manifesto aim to destroy all ties that unite people, turning civil society into an atomized mass.
Points one and seven propose the abolition of nation states and the establishment of supranational governance, effectively empowering the British ruling class to act as a world government.
This ideology became known as "Communism".
Communist Leaders as Agents of British Influence
In his book, "The Secret History of the West", English writer Nicholas Hagger sheds light on the connections between the founders of communism, Marx and Engels, and the British ruling class.
Engels fell into the British sphere of influence as early as 1835, when he joined the Young Germany lodge, founded by Palmerston and Mazzini.
In 1842, Engels moved to England, where a branch of his family business was located. In 1844, he wrote two articles for the German-French Annals. These articles fell into the hands of Palmerston, who realized that Engels was developing the doctrine of the communist movement. Palmerston recommended that the press promote Engels, spreading his fame throughout Germany.
However, the wealthy German Engels was unsuitable for the role of father of communism. Therefore, the candidacy of the Jew Marx was accepted. At Engels' insistence and under his guidance, Marx published Engels' communist philosophy. In the event of a negative reaction, the blame will be placed on the Jews.
Seeing the dispossessed Marx as a potential martyr for the cause of communism, Engels brought him to England in 1945, where his subjugation deepened into a life of slavery. Marx was just one of a long line of Jews exploited for the cause of communism. [17]
In his book "How the British Invented Communism", the American writer Richard Poe, exploring Marx's English connections and the geopolitical focus of his works, called the father of communism "a British imperial propagandist". [16]
Another Jewish communist leader, Leon Trotsky, also served as a conduit for the interests of the British lords. In the chapter "Trotsky and British Intelligence," Richard Poe describes the efforts of the British Secret Intelligence Service to transport Trotsky from New York to Petrograd. In Russia, Trotsky was under the care of British curators, one of whom was Clare Sheridan, Winston Churchill's cousin. [18]
FIRST INTERNATIONAL
The next step of the British ruling class was the creation of an international organization capable of uniting the world labor movement, arming it with communist ideology and directing it to accomplish a world revolution designed to establish the new world order outlined in the Communist Manifesto.
The First International, an international working people's association founded in London in 1864, became such an organization. Karl Marx, who joined the leadership of the International, was supposed to ensure the immutability of the organization's communist course.
After the dissolution of the First International in 1876, its activities were resumed in 1889 with the creation of the Second International, also oriented towards communism.
Thus, in the second half of the 19th century, the British ruling class managed to 'ride the wave' of the global labor movement and direct the energy of the proletariat towards the realization of its own geopolitical goals.
Communism as the Greatest Deception in Human History
Under the guise of utopian promises of universal equality and abundance, communism invariably began with a bloody terror that destroyed the nation's most creative and active members and culminated in the establishment of a brutal dictatorship by the communist elite. The surviving population was deprived of civil rights, and its economic situation steadily worsened.
This scenario was repeated in all countries where communist revolutions or coups took place.
The pioneers of communist terror were the Paris Communards, who came to power in the spring of 1871. Their rule began with mass executions. The Communards massacred approximately 30,000 citizens and attempted to set fire to Paris. In total, approximately 90,000 people died during the fighting in the capital. [8]
The Russian Bolsheviks took up the baton of communist terror in 1917. Like the Communards, they deliberately exterminated the intelligentsia and entrepreneurs, seeking to decapitate the Russian nation. The death toll from the Red Terror, civil war, and political repression in Russia runs into the millions. [9]
Overall, researchers estimate that the death toll from communist terror in the 20th century approaches 100 million people. [10]
Communism became one of the bloodiest and most merciless ideologies in history, bringing suffering and death to nations. This is the "gift" of the British ruling class to humanity.
From World Revolution to World War
Leon Trotsky was appointed responsible for implementing the "World Revolution" project at the beginning of the 20th century, seeking to use communist Russia as "a bundle of kindling for the fire of world revolution."
However, Trotsky's attempts to export revolution from Russia to Western Europe failed. [11] In 1929, Stalin expelled Trotsky from the Soviet Union, putting an end to the idea of world revolution.
Having realized the failure of the "World Revolution" project, the British ruling class placed its bets on another instrument of global reorganization - World War.
In 1929, Bank of England Director Montagu Norman began closing the British Empire off from the outside world, primarily the United States. This move forced American financiers and industrialists to invest in the economies of the Third Reich and the Soviet Union, which, according to the British plan, were to clash in a future war. [12]
The article "The British Ruling Class and the Hitler Project" (text, video) tells how the British ruling class "created Hitler", strengthened the Third Reich, and sent Wehrmacht troops to the borders of the USSR.
The "Jewish conspiracy" theory as a cover for the British ruling class
Russian aristocrats who emigrated to Western Europe after the Bolshevik Revolution accused the British establishment of organizing a communist coup and plotting against Russia. [13]
In his book, "How the British Invented Communism," Richard Poe provides evidence of how the British ruling class orchestrated the overthrow of the Russian Tsar, brought the Bolsheviks to power, provided them with protection during the Civil War, and became the first among the elites of the great powers to recognize the Soviet Union. [14]
In response to these accusations, Secretary of State for War Winston Churchill attempted to divert public attention from the subversive role of the British ruling class on February 8, 1920, by invoking the "Jewish conspiracy" theory. In an article published in the London newspaper Illustrated Sunday Herald, he accused the Jewish people of a 150-year-old conspiracy against European civilization. [15]
Churchill was being disingenuous because the reality was different. It was the British ruling class that stood behind all the subversive movements that shook Europe for a century and a half. Seeking global domination, it deliberately destroyed the continental European monarchies that stood in its way.
Jews like Marx, who was placed at the head of the International, or Trotsky, who was appointed to lead the Bolshevik Revolution, were the executors of the will of the British lords and served as a convenient cover for them.
SOCIALIST INTERNATIONAL
After World War II, the British ruling class sought to use left-wing political forces to increase its international influence. As part of this strategy, the Socialist International, an international coalition of socialist and social democratic parties headquartered in London, was founded in 1951.
Today, the Socialist International, which includes 156 parties from 126 countries, is a significant instrument of political influence, allowing Great Britain to advance its own interests on the world stage.
In 2017, Socialist International President Antonio Guterres was elected Secretary-General of the United Nations. Upon assuming the helm of the organization, he outlined the priorities of British foreign policy, including:
weakening national sovereignty;
using the climate agenda as a tool to limit economic growth;
stimulating migration from Asia and Africa with the aim of degrading European civilization;
supporting radical Islamic organizations and states;
a hardline anti-Israel line;
a course toward global population reduction.
The climax of Guterres' tenure as UN Secretary-General was the COVID-19 pandemic, which he, along with Prince Charles, described as the "Great Reset of the Global Economy".
According to Guterres, the next stage after the Reset was supposed to be "Sustainable Development", which essentially entailed halting human social, economic, and cultural progress. [19]
Fortunately for humanity, the plans of the British elite were not realized.
The Socialist International as a geopolitical instrument of London
The British ruling class also uses the Socialist International for geopolitical purposes.
A striking example of this is the London-initiated campaign to recognize the non-existent state of Palestine. [20,21] The real aim of this campaign is to prevent the destruction of the terrorist organization Hamas, which, as the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, is a proxy structure of Britain. [22]
The initiative by British Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Keir Starmer to recognize the State of Palestine has been supported by heads of state leading parties that are members of the Socialist International or within the British sphere of influence. Among them are:
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, leader of the Liberal Party and former governor of the Bank of England;
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, leader of the Labour Party;
Malta Prime Minister Robert Abela, leader of the Labour Party;
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Store, leader of the Labour Party;
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, leader of the Socialist Workers' Party;
Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro, leader of the Social Democratic Party;
and French President Emmanuel Macron. [23-27]
In the above list, the members of the Socialist International are:
The British Labour Party;
The Australian Labour Party;
The Norwegian Labour Party;
The Maltese Labour Party;
and the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party.
The remaining parties and political leaders are, to varying degrees, within London's orbit of influence:
The Liberal Party of Canada is a member of the Liberal International, whose headquarters are located in London.
French President Emmanuel Macron is a former employee of Rothschild & Cie, a bank owned by the Rothschild family, which has remained a symbol of British influence for centuries. [28]
Portugal, since the overthrow of the monarchy in 1910, has been within the British sphere of influence, regardless of the political orientation of the party in power. [29]
RADICAL ISLAM
Another subversive force that the British ruling class actively uses to achieve its goals is radical Islam.
Britain's connection to this movement dates back to the early 20th century, when British intelligence agencies, in conjunction with the Suez Canal Company, facilitated the creation of the radical Islamic organization the Muslim Brotherhood. The goal of this initiative was to maintain control of the Suez Canal.
Since then, the Muslim Brotherhood has served as an instrument of British policy in the Middle East, acting as a shock force aimed at overthrowing regimes and eliminating leaders pursuing sovereign, nationally oriented policies.
Among the most famous terrorist acts and coups d'etat committed by this organization in the interests of London, the following can be highlighted:
The assassination of King Abdullah of Jordan in 1951 was revenge for his collusion with Israel during the 1948 War and for his attempt to negotiate a peace agreement with Israel.
An assassination attempt on Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1954, in response to his plan to nationalise the Suez Canal.
The assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat in 1981 was punishment for signing a peace treaty with Israel.
The 2011 Egyptian revolution that led to the overthrow of the secular regime of Hosni Mubarak and the rise to power of the Muslim Brotherhood led by Mohamed Morsi.
The Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which was accompanied by the mass murder of civilians. [30]
Since 1961, when the Muslim Brotherhood's headquarters were moved from Egypt to London, the British ruling class began to use radical Islam as a means of domestic influence, aimed, among other things, at the Islamization of Great Britain. After the formation of the European Union, this process spread to continental Europe.
In the view of Britain's ruling class, radical Islam is more capable than English socialism of ensuring the obedience of the masses and the unconditional dominance of the elite in the face of slowing scientific and technological progress and economic decline. [31]
Details of the British elite's use of radical Islam are outlined in the articles:
The British Ruling Class and Radical Islam (text, video);
The British Ruling Class and the Islamisation of Europe (text, video).
CONCLUSION
For centuries, the British ruling class has used the British Isles as a base for subversive movements that sow chaos and destruction in other countries.
While previously it was Freemasonry, then revolutionary organizations and the Communist International, today it is the Socialist International and radical Islam.
Why can't Britain peacefully coexist with other countries like Japan? Both are island nations, both lacking significant natural resources. Yet Japan has achieved wealth and prosperity through hard work, technological advancement, and international cooperation.
The problem is that the British ruling class is not satisfied with wealth and prosperity; it is seeking to regain the global hegemony it enjoyed before the First World War. [31][32]
However, in peaceful competition with more intelligent rivals like Germany, or with richer and more powerful powers like the United States, China, and Russia, Britain has no chance of winning.
Therefore, its elite has chosen a different path - the path of destruction, seeking to subjugate the world not through creation, but through chaos. By embracing this path of destruction, the British ruling class has transformed Great Britain into the global center of evil.
In an effort to overthrow undesirable governments, it incites religious, racial, ethnic and military conflicts, either directly or through its proxy structures.
A succinct yet insightful characterization of the global role of the British ruling class is given in the book "The Ambiguities of Power: British Foreign Policy Since 1945" by British historian Mark Curtis:
"The basic fact is that Britain is a major, systematic contributor to much of the worlds suffering and horrors." [33]
